Majumder family has a glorious past. Original homeland of our ancestors was Barisal, presently Bangladesh. Our grandfather migrated from Barisal to West Bengal in search of fate. Since then, our ancestors resided in Rashbagan, Beleghata.
Our grandfather Late Khitindra Nath Majumder was born in the year 1896, who served in the Steamer Company of Bangladesh in 1950. Later, we shifted to our present residence in Phoolbagan, which is constructed by our father Sri Promode Ranjan Majumder, commonly addressed by us as “Babu”.
Babu after migrating from Barisal worked in Hindusthan Commercial Bank for several years and got married in 1950. But later he started his own business in the year 1954 named “Eastern Scientific Company” which manufactured scientific apparatus.
Babu and Ma is really embodiment of love, affection and always carried with them the halos which also gave the distressed much needed peace and solace and sprawled it over all the beings around them who were fortunate to meet such a person.
They are now extinct in this world but they have left their footprints very deeply in our hearts, and we feel it should be the endeavour of all of us to follow their footprints, otherwise this planet will be void of love.
